What is Sports Massage?

  • Sports Massage is a set of specialised massage techniques for the treatment of muscle, tendon or ligament problems.
  • Sports Massage uses subtle manipulation of the tissues on both a muscle tissue level and a neuromuscular (nervous system) level. Combining these two approaches leads to a powerful, long lasting and deep release to the tissues.
  • Sports Massage aims to stretch tight muscles, stimulate inactive muscles and improve soft tissue condition. Sports Massage enables you to move your body more freely and can, in time, improve your posture.
